Before…

(1) Setting goals
At the outset, we take the time to carefully discuss your restoration objectives to ensure that every requirement is fulfilled. Whether re-commissioning a fundamentally sound car or a full restoration of a ‘barn find’, all projects start with an informal meeting and tour of our facilities. This allows us to evaluate your wishes and expectations in depth to guarantee we deliver on them

(2) Restoration considerations
We are well aware that every client will have their individual objectives. Planning to use the car on a daily basis, exhibiting it at Concours d’Elegance events, scaling the odd hill climb in between Sunday trips or perhaps racing at a major historic festival or track day will influence what work you would like done.  There is no element of an Aston restoration that our knowledgeable technicians are unable to carry out to the highest possible standard (visit our ‘Upgrades’ section for more detail on possible enhancements).

(1) Projecting timescales and budgets
Our careful planning process at the outset will allow us to conduct an efficient restoration process with benefits for both the timing and economy of the overall task. Working out realistic timescales and budgets is often a daunting but necessary part of the restoration process. We will take the time to develop your objectives into a tangible work plan and projected budget

(2) Awaiting works
At Chicane we are able to offer a range of storage options at our secure facility whilst your car awaits work. Depending on the scale of your restoration project, a waiting list is a real possibility with most top-tier Aston-Martin restorers. Ensuring your car is already on site enables your restoration to be expedited at the earliest opportunity

(3) Works undertaken
Ensuring you are never in the dark throughout your car’s restoration, Chicane will keep you fully informed with regular updates and photos of the progress being made

After…
Once the restoration has been carried out, there is after care to consider. Storage and maintenance are very important and we can guide you as to the best way to look after your car for many years to come. A suitable after care schedule will also be arranged for you to keep your car in tip-top condition
